Nike's Vandal High Supreme Is The Latest Quickstrike
In October 2017 the Vandal High was brought back Nike, a beloved ’80s high-top silhouette that was popularised through basketball. The Vandal was an underrated sneaker that was overshadowed by the iconic Air Force One and other popular mid-top sneakers. This week the Vandal resurfaces in two new colourways as a quickstirke.
The first dons a black and gold colour scheme with tan hits, taking a minimalistic approach, while the other is far more vibrant in red and silver. Both feature Vandal staple's such as velcro top strap, large Nike panel on the back and two open vents near the sole. The two come in a nylon-esque water resistant fabric paying homage to the OG Metallic Silver colourway that returned last October.
While the Vandal may not be at the top of everyone's list as a must cop it's certainly had a resurgence of late with the return of the original colourways and a collaboration with John Elliott.
Both pairs are available at Good As Gold for $160 NZD.
