Kowtow's Spring 2018 Collection Introduces Five New Fabrics
Founded in 2007 by Gosia Piatek, Kowtow is a New Zealand based womenswear label built on the ethos of sustainable and ethical garments. Minimal and effortless, the Kowtow aesthetic is inspired by Gosia’s interests in art, architecture, culture, craftsmanship, landscapes and her own travels. The brand has seen massive growth since its inception with stockists globally in Europe and North America as well as their first flagship store in Wellington.
Their Spring 2018 collection has drawn its inspiration from colours and shapes of modernist architecture and 70’s industrial design. Within the collection Kowtow have introduced 5 new ethical & sustainable fabrics, including; corduroy, fine knit, ecru denim, colour blocked knitwear and seersucker, each taking around 12 months to design and create from scratch for desired weight, weave and feel and all adhering to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) by using approved inks & dyes for printing, dyeing & washing.
Kowtow's Spring 2018 Collection is now available from their webstore and select stockists.
