doublet's FW18 Collection "Ready-To-Where" Has Hit Shelves
Recent LVMH Grand Prize winners 'doublet' have delivered their latest season. The 2018 winners of the illustrious LVMH Grand Prize included over $300,000 USD, and a years mentorship from industry leaders such as Karl Lagerfeld, Maria Grazia Chiuri, Marc Jacobs, Humberto Leon, Jonathan Anderson, and Clare Waight Keller.
Creative director, Masayuki Ino founded the label back in 2012 where he teamed up with contemporary artist and pattern maker Takashi Murakami. The word 'doublet' comes from the alternate name for the word puzzle, referring to a game in which the players modify words, transforming a given word into another by changing only one letter at a time, forming a genuine new word with each letter change. The word coined by Lewis Carrol, author of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
Canadian retailer /017 recently photographed an editorial featuring the brand's FW18 collection titled "Ready-To-Where". Highlighting key styles such as the neon "No Image" hoodie, leather supermarket bag and the recurring 'Chaos' theme. Select items are available now from /017.
