27Mollys References Home In Their Latest Collection
2018 sees the release of 27Mollys second jewellery collection, 'Love and Basketball'. Based in Wellington, New Zealand the brand shows us a collection of crafted handmade pieces in silver. The collection features a mixture of rings, chains, pendants and earrings and due to the handmade nature, no two pieces are exactly the same. 'Love and Basketball' is inspired by 90's basketball culture with nods to Championship Rings as well as the idea of pretty such as bling-bling and flowers. The unisex collection makes sure there’s something there for everyone in the tribe.
The editorial was shot by Jabu Newman in Cape Town, South Africa and modelled by Christina Leigh Fortune. Brent Paye, the founder of 27Mollys is originally from South Africa, creates an interesting identity dialogue for anyone who has two homes through the vision of the editorial.
