Auckland's Checks Downtown Goes Resort For Spring/Summer 19
Auckland retailer, Checks Downtown showcases their Spring/Summer 19 collection.
Checks Downtown's Spring/Summer 2019 collection is inspired by resort clothing from the 50’s and 60’s, when dressing down meant wearing a Hawaiian shirt with some slacks.
Adding the Checks lens is a mixed generation approach with reference to the sportswear and track suits that were prevalent in the 90’s and early 00’s along with workwear staples reimagined with Checks signature colours and detailing.

The collection is harnessed together through the use of familiar fabrics in the Checks collection such as corduroy, denim and velour and a colour palette that’s based around pastels and washed out tones.
The first delivery from the SS19 collection is available online now from Checks Downtown.
