Our Favourite Picks From Balenciaga's Latest Drop On SSENSE
Global retailer SSENSE have just restocked in some of Balenciaga’s best products and have introduced some key new season pieces.
Since 2015 the brand has been helmed by the creative vision of Demna Gvasalia who broke ground with his label Vetements before his appointment to Balenciaga. Continuing on the legacy is no easy task but Gvasalia has brought back the essence and tradition of experimentation, bringing his uniquely subversive vision to the long standing French house. In the ability to mix streetwear and high end the concept of luxury has been blurred that follows the new wave of designers such as Virgil Abloh, Heron Preston and more. With exaggerated silhouettes, asymmetric cuts and colour renders Gvasalia has lifted the Balenciaga brand into a global powerhouse that has sparked changes in fashion.
